FEATURED STORY
This chippy green drawer was the barn rescue to beat all other barn rescues! We had to sign waivers to even visit this particular tear down in Woodinville, WA, because it was leaning so much. The last people had quite literally fallen through the floor! We walked across the remaining second floor beams to get that drawer. Talk about an adventure! Totally worth it, but we can’t seem to figure out why there was a dresser up there to begin with.
our mission
Preserving our history, protecting our future
As a company based in Seattle, Washington, we find it our duty to contribute to the Pacific Northwest's movement towards sustainability. In its quest to become ecologically responsible, the Pacific Northwest has become an exceedingly green region in which to live and visit. Taken as a whole, the entire region offers diverse landscapes and a cornucopia of opportunities for groups to get out and enjoy fresh air and locally grown food, to explore waterways and other unique ecosystems, to view nature-inspired art and endangered wildlife, and to learn stewardship practices they can use back home.

We live in a beautiful world, let's preserve it.

With low pollution, clean water and efficient energy use, Washington has earned its green stripes as one of the most eco-friendly states in the nation.
“Seattle and Seattle’s CVB are very enthusiastic about our natural environment,” says Tom Norwalk, senior vice president of sales and marketing at Seattle’s CVB. “We are proud and stand with our mayor and the city in Seattle’s leadership role in the environment. It is hard not to find an experience in the Northwest that isn’t green or eco-friendly. It has always been a part of what we are and who we are—so much so that we have incorporated it into our brand identity: ‘Seattle—Metronatural.”’
one man's junk
another man's treasure
As a company that revolves around the concept of upcycling, we let nothing go to waste. Upcyling has a tremendously positive impact on our environment, not only by minimizing waste, but also by reducing the need for production using new or raw materials. Moreover, upcycling helps reduce CO2 emissions by using old materials instead of new ones. In fact, for every ton of discarded textiles used again, 20 tons of CO2 is prevented from entering the atmosphere.

At Vintage Shed, our pickers are always hard at work scavenging "junk" from our past. We believe that every object has a story and we make sure to keep these stories out of the landfill. As protectors of history, we bring you the best collection of rustic, barn, and vintage finds. We've done the hunting, so that your imagination can do the creating.
